For performing Khatushyam Puja, various sacred items are required to invoke divine blessings. The puja begins with an idol or image of Khatushyam Ji, along with roli (vermilion), kalava (sacred thread), cloves, cardamom, betel nuts, turmeric, and gulal. Essential elements like mica (abhrak), Gangajal, rose water, honey, dhoop sticks, and cotton balls are also used. A sacred thread (yagnopavit), yellow mustard, desi ghee, camphor, and a matchbox are included in the rituals. Grains such as barley and rice (about 11 kg) symbolize prosperity. Sandalwood in white and red forms, along with earthen lamps (diyas), play a significant role in the puja. Other items include water coconut, pancharatna (five sacred gems), sugar, and offerings like saptadhanya (seven grains).
